123inkjets.com - Printer Ink, Toner, & MoreI put this site together because there are just so many places on the web where you can have a presence, and I felt it would be a good idea to build some kind of place where I could at least keep track of them all.

Firstly,if you're in the market for some replacement ink cartridges you can't go wrong with 123inkjets. Click on the logo in the left hand corner here, and see how much you can save. I found prices to be about 40% cheaper than the local retailers, and their service is speedy too.

Social Media networks have exploded in the last year or so, with more and more coming online all the time. Some will survive and prosper; others will fall by the wayside. Who knows which? Sometimes the technically best sites fail thru lack of money or vision, or an incapability to grow.

The Sites I use the most are FriendFeed and Social|Median. FriendFeed is useful for keeping tabs on those around you with similar interests. Social|Median is similar in a way, but the accent is very much more on news articles. It's not jsut tech either, but all subjects across the board. With Social|Median you can choose which news networks you wish to follow, and thereby get the type of news that interests you.

I'm a keen photographer, and while I will post a few images in here, most of my material can be found on Flickr. I've been a member of Flickr now for a few years, and I enjoy the facilities they have to offer. It works for me anyway!

Here in the lowcountry, where I'm currently based, there is a wealth of things to see and do, and while the hot and often humid summers are not perhaps to everyone's taste, the mild winters generally are, and are a good time to get out and about and do some walking, when it's cooler, and there are none of those nasty little bugs about either!

I've been a long time user of IRC, and I enjoy meeting people and exchanging ideas, swapping jokes, talking about music and having a few beers from time to time too. If you're into IRC, you can find me as 'eyebee' on the DALnet network.

I've always been interesting in communicating with people, from the time I got a toy walkie-talkie as a kid, through the CB radio craze of the 1980's, onto Fidonet, and now all the Social Media offerings that we have now.

ALl of this stuff is very much in its infancy of course, and who knows what direction it's going to take off in, and what is around the next corner. Then again, that's half the fun of it, don't you think?
