- The smell of cut grass when out walking this morning.
- While walking along a busy road, there was a 20 odd second gap in the traffic in both directions. It was so quiet without vehicle noise! Most enjoyable while it lasted.
- Sometimes the simple things are best. A nice cup of hot green tea.

- Enjoying the mid-afternoon peace and quiet. Sometimes, silence truly is golden.
- Some large succulent radishes from Summerville Farmers Market. You just can’t beat fresh produce.
- Getting a job I didn’t relish doing out of the way. It’s all about a bit of self-discipline of course.

- Getting back to nature in the countryside. Green and pleasant, with the sounds and smells of the surrounding woodland.
- The pork ribs that our friends Ina and Donald cooked on the camp fire. Really very succulent and tasty.
- Sitting around the campfire enjoying idle chat, and drinking a cool beer under the stars.
